City of Glendale has opened new recreation center
I would be remiss in announcing that the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center in Glendale, Arizona is now open. It is located at 5600 West Union Hills Drive close to the Glendale library – Foothills branch. The Recreation and center has hours of:
Monday – Friday – 5:30am – 10 pm
Saturday - 7 am to 8 pm
Sunday – 11 am to 5 pm
The facility offers a full size gymnasium, a rock climbinbg wall, activity area with billiards and a big screen tv, craft classrooms, a fitness area, indoor walking track and 3 racquetball courts.
The rates for this facility is $35.00 per month for an adult resident. They also have 2 person rates at $55.00 per month or a family at $65.00 per month. A resident must show proof of residency with something such as a water or electric bill and a picture identification. There are also punch cards which are $60 for 15 visits (for residents of Glendale Arizona).
Non residents of Glendale Arizona may also attend this facility with rates of $42.00 per month, 2 person at $66.00 per month or a family at $78.00 per month.
The Aquatics Center has a separate fee and appears to be utilizing punch cards.
