What to Expect - A Few Guidelines
Before a Showing
We need to communicate prior to visits so I can call all listings we plan on viewing. It's courtesy to give a two hour notice, if possible.
Try to avoid bringing small children. They will be probably become tired and bored. Purchasing a home is too big of a decision to be distracted.
Stay in your price range. Don't let emotions sway you. If you fall in love with a house that you "have to have," you may end up with one you really can't afford.
Be prepared for the heat. (I'll provide beverages).
During a Showing
Pay attention to the homes' curb appeal, floor plan and overall amenties.
Take notes, ask questions and make comments. This helps me understand your needs and what you like or don't like about a home.
Know the characteriscs you need in a home and the amenities you want. Is an RV gate or a pool a must? Do you require a large kitchen? Are large bedrooms a requirement? Is the neighborhood the most important factor? The more these types of items are thought through before seeing homes the smoother and less stressful this process will be.
Realize when you look at a home, not every one will be perfect - sometimes you will need to look hard to see the possibilities.
Relax, and have fun!!
How Many Homes to See
This will depend on the neighborhood, real estate market, and specific requirements.
Focus on suitable properties. I can help by eliminating homes that do not meet your criteria and tracking down those that do. Good communication is vital. |
