Sonoran Mountain Ranch is a new community in northern Glendale built within rolling foothills and adjacent to the East Wing Mountain Preserve.  This preserve hosts a 12 acre city park and trails to the top of East Wing Mountain.   Other amenities within Sonoran Mountain Ranch include the new elementary school, walking and biking paths and greenbelt areas.  

There are quite a few builders in Sonoran Mountain Ranch which include Camelot Homes, Element Homes, Shea Homes, Cresleigh homes, Morrison, Maracay, Standard Pacific and Desert Cove Homes (custom).  Most homes were built in this community in 2005 or more recent.
