Ashton Ranch

Ashton Ranch is a wonderful neighborhood with approximately 1200 homes that were built between 2000 and 2004.  Ashton Ranch was primarily a Beazer development that built homes from 930 square feet to approximately 2400 square feet.  The development is near Waddell and Bullard Avenue which places the community quite close to many of Surprises’ town amenities.  

Just north of Ashton Ranch on Bullard is the Surprise Stadium (which hosts Spring Training games for the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers).    In the same proximity to the Surprise Stadium is the Surprise Library, a $5.5 million, 20,000 square foot facility. Sharing the same parking lot as the library is an over 10,000 square foot Aquatics Center with two waterslides (– I’ve tried them myself), an eight lane lap pool and a kid friendly children’s area.  Nearby is the Surprise City Park which has a children’s play area, picnic areas and gazebos and a stock lake – fishing is allowed.
